Randall Fee (email) was born and raised in Auburn and graduated from Placer High School in 1969.He lettered in Track and Baseball while attending Placer. Randall attended Oregon State University where he played baseball. He is now retired from P.G.&E. were he worked as a lineman and Senior Program Manager for 37 years. Currently Randall is in his 15th year as the Head Cross Country Coach at Placer High School. He is married to his wife, Christi, and his son Dustin teaches at Del Oro High School and is the Head Track Coach.
Rad McCord (email) , a 1967 Placer High School graduate, taught at Placer from 1973 to 2009. He was a dedicated coach of tennis and downhill skiing where the highlight of his career was having his two daughters on his teams. Rad wore many hats while at the Placer campus from department chair, league representative, Associated Teachers of Placer bargaining team, Auburn Ski Club board member, and the Placer County Alcohol Advisory board, to name a few. He feels strongly about giving back to his alma mater after more than 40 years as a Hillman.
Bob Burge (email) taught journalism and English at Placer High School from 1973-2006. For 38 years, he was the public address announcer at Lefebvre Stadium. Now retired, he serves as chairman of The Hillmen Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports Placer High in the areas of academics, student activities, and athletics.
Lindsay (Hyatt) Barr (email) attended Placer High School from 1996-1999, although she practically grew up on campus since her dad was a P.E. teacher and coach at Placer. She was valedictorian of her class and 4-time California State Champion in the 800 meters. She lettered in Cross Country, Cross Country Skiing, and Track & Field. She now works for Stanford University as an analyst for the athletic department. She is married to Chris and they have two children, Cooper and Addison.
Ben Edwards (email) attended Placer High School from 1991-1995 and both his sisters have or are teachers on campus. Ben was a four-time varsity member of the Boys Tennis team and won multiple league championships. He was the Hillmen Messenger Editor his Senior year before moving on to UC Berkeley. Ben works for EvolveIP, a cloud services company, after 15 years with Dell. He volunteers in the Auburn community on the Board of the Auburn Library and likes to help out with the PHS tennis program during the summer.
E. Ken Tokutomi (email), a 1968 Placer High graduate, competed on the Placer wrestling team. Ken is a CPA in Auburn and received the McCann Community Service Award in 1997. He serves on the Board of the Placer County Board of Education, is Chairman of The Salvation Army Advisory Board, and is treasurer of the Placer Chapter of JACL. Ken leads the Feed the Hungry program, is a member of the Board of the Auburn Kiwanis Club, and led a six year long effort to complete a memorial at the Santucci Justice Center honoring World War II American soldiers of Japanese ancestry and their families who suffered through internment. In 2010 Ken was chosen as one of eighteen “Extraordinary Asian Pacific Americans (APAs) of the Year” in the United States.
Tom Isaac (email) has been the head tennis coach at Placer High School from 2003 to the present. He was a 6th grade teacher, an operations manager for Belden & Blake Oil & Gas company, a former owner/operator of an indoor racquet club and a general manager of Mission Hills Tennis Club in Fremont, CA. Tom loves Placer High School athletics and wants to help promote its legendary success.
